Why we need donations

As our services are free, clients are not obliged to make payment of any type. However, as a registered charity, we welcome donations from individuals and other organisations. Donations are accepted for the Merton and Lambeth CABx service, and not for any individual volunteer or member of staff.
We ask donors remember to include gift aid, if paying income tax or capital gains tax. This enables us to turn every £10 donated into £12.82.

If you appreciate the service we provide, please consider leaving us a gift in your will.

You can donate to us directly, and securely: GiftAid

Donating by Cash & Cheque

You can support us by sending a cheque (payable to 'Merton & Lambeth CABx') to us at our address at the bottom of this page.
Or, if you wish to give a cash donation, you can hand this in to a receptionist at our Morden, Mitcham or Streatham bureaux. There are also collection tins for smaller donations in all bureaux.

Donating Online

You can support us by registering with www.everyclick.com/mertoncab and selecting Merton & Lambeth CABx as your chosen charity. This enables you to search the internet, using the Ask.com engine, and raise funds for us - at not cost to you.

Other Ways you can help us

  • Enabling the bureau to deliver the kind of modern service needed today we need help in purchasing IT equipment and training bureaux staff to use it,
  • Providing money for equipment in general or for our premises, for example, to improve access for people with disabilities.
  • If you are upgrading office equipment, we may be able to make use of your old equipment.
  • Sponsorship money for items such as leaflets, posters and our annual report could help improve the promotion of our services to the local community.
  • Making us the Charity of the Year at your company. Donations from raffles or contests, no matter how big or small, are always welcome.
  • If you are a company do you have staff that you could second or encourage to volunteer some time to provide mentoring skills to the bureau?
