Citizens Advice Bureaux are in an ideal position to monitor the impact of policies and working practices on their clients and then pass this information back to the policy makers and to those responsible for the provision of services.
Every Bureau sends information to Citizens Advice about their clients' experiences. This information is collated and used to influence policy making both locally and nationally. Most recently and as a direct result of this work the Government's Housing Bill has been amended.
More detailed information about our campaigning work, including copies of recent evidence reports is available from the Citizens Advice website.
Our social policy group meets regularly to discuss local issues and liaise with other local groups. In the past few months we have met representatives from the Council's Benefits department and a local Bailiffs firm.

Here you will be able to submit an issue you would like us to add to our campaigns.
